Hi guys, I come to you for assistance with my lovely Jaguar AJV8 engine, please forgive me for not owning an actual Jaguar, but we are cousins!

I've posted before about my AJV8 (fitted in my Supercharged Range Rover) with a noise/drone between 1200-2000RPM at medium throttle but not got anywhere. The noise goes if I back off the throttle or if I power past 2000RPM, the noise isn't present while coasting down hill in low gears around the same RPM.

Land Rover dealers are useless - 90% of LR's sold are oil burners nowadays so they have no expertise when it comes to the petrol variants.

Generic garages of course have no experience with Supercharged engines so I think I need to find a decent Jaguar specialist. I don't mind travelling, so anywhere in the south-west is do-able.

You could try Roger Young of Saltash he's a Jaguar, Land Rover dealer 01752 849999 or Swallows Independent Jaguar Specialist in Somerset 01934 750319 which is where I bought my car from,
