Default Window Tint

Jaguar Forum,

I live in Carmel, Indiana and was looking for a reputable place to have my 2014 XJL tinted. Can anyone provide recommendations? Willing to drive into the city if that is the best location.

Also, does anyone know the legal tint percentage (20%, 35%) for Indiana?

Thanks,

I wouldn't bother if I were you, especially on a 'Brand New Car' like yours!

As for one thing it could have a negative, impact on the Value, when you decide to sell her one day, or else trade her in for a newer model.

As 'Tinted Windows' are not to everyone's taste.

Though if you really wanted them, it may have been better to specify these when you ordered the car.

Thanks, I was really debating this decision as the car does look great without tint. I appreciate your quick reply.

They look great with or without tint. Window film is easily removed (heck, it's just squeegeed on) and they can quote you a price to remove it.
I window tinted my old 86 VDP and the shop I went to was able to show me my car, same color and various tints via computer program before I did it. When I sold her, I offered to remove it but the buyer liked it.
Sorry, can't recommend a supplier as I'm sure you don't want to make the drive to MPLS

Thanks Sean, that's a good point.

I think I am going to go with the window tint.
