Hello, well about a year ago I bought my 2011 XK, so far I love the car. When I first bought the car I had new tires put on and they have been great. Last week I had new rims put on but that's when things changed. After the new wheels were put on at about 30mph the car feels like it's jumping up and down. When you increase your speed to about 40mph the steering wheel starts shaking. I brought the car back and had them re-check balance and all seemed well. As I start driving again the same things happen so I took it to another shop and they Rea did the balance to all the wheels. As I started driving the same thing happened again. Now when the wheel starts shaking I can let go of the wheel and the car tracks straight, the car does not shake just the steering wheel. At high speed when you break it still shakes until it slows to about 40mph. It does not seem to affect any handling of the car at all. I brought it to a alignment shop and they said it has to be a balance problem. So far nothing works and no one can find the problem, can anyone give me some advice..I'm totally lost as to why it keeps doing this.
I'm no mechanic but the issue here is clear as day my man. That gorgeous car is shaking the steering wheel bc you put that godawful decal on there. I wouldn't drive it until you've remedied that, otherwise the car may just commit suicide. I could be wrong about it being causal, the rest I know 100%.

i was about quoting same thing too. And i was curious about it all. I event thought the wheels maybe oversized where forced into the bolts
