Hi!
I have been some time without write here. You know I had problems with my HID upgrade because of broken tabs on the headlights... anyway finally I have bought and installed news headlights from Jaguar dealer (too expensive but the only good solution after all).
As you can see on pictures I have completed some changes since I received the car from my mother:
- I add the rear oval exhaust tips.
- I installed the white side repeaters.
- I installed the new headlights.
- I installed the HID upgrade and change all the bulbs.
- I checked and clean the cd changer that wasn´t working ok.
- I installed the upper and lower mesh grille (the lower glued to the bumper, I didn´t like the mounted system it included).
- I bought and "install" to use a new key.

And now, the next week, I have an appointment on the garage to re-paint it (the same green colour; it´s only to improve the look and the bright and fix somescratches)and I continue looking for some 18" wheels. I have also to apply the leather dye I have already bought, I will do it after received the car painted the next week.
I´m also thinking about the possibility of install the ACM (for iPOD), Parrot bluetooth phone kit... and I dream with Borla exhaust system or something like it and with a styling package but I suppose I will never install these things jejeje
Surely I will install some audio system (I´m a great car audio fan; I had a huge installation on my last car). I have some doubts about it and this time I will pay a professional installation but I don´t know just now what will I do exactly...
And I´d like to add the leaping cat to the bonnet but I´m afraid about stupid people could try to steal it and broke it and the bonnet... I don´t know what to do this way :-(
Well, this is my car. I have not showed it before here. I will add new images the next week when it´s re-painted.
Regards!

Alot of hard work paid off. New 18's will look really nice on that X. Add more pics after the paint job and any more improvements, ok?

I got the mesh grill from jaguar and had it installed with the mounts but there is a small gap at the top. What did you use to glue it? can you take some close up pics of the grill? maybe i will glue mine!

Thanks everybody
bojangles I NEVER get snow where I live. I´m on Malaga, on the South and I live just in front of the beach. Here is always sunny.
About the lower grille I didn´t like the mounts and the screws, I thought it wasn´t too good to fit it and since first moment I prefered to glue it. I use several coats of a strong glue but it should be better to apply some BLACK silicone with a gun. Anyway my grille is strongly glued and I think (and hope) it will not be removed easily.
Here some pics (I used white glue and after I painted it carefully to be impossible to see nothing white from exterior). I put it on its position, I protected with tape and I glued the interior zone. After the neccesary time I applied another coat for several times. The more difficult point it´s to glue both grille extremes and there it´s bent so I used a glue gun for the exterior zone to be in the correct position and after, when the interior was strongly glued I was able to take off the glue from the exterior. I don´t know if I´m explaining it good [>:]Here some pics (I have not from all).

Nice X! I want the navi! Are you going to paint the chrome while your at it?
jejeje No; In principle I will preserve the chrome just like now. I like it on doors and the piece of trunk... but maybe chrome from front and rear bumpers could be dispensable but I don´t think it will look good been painted, do it? I don´t know... now you ask meit I have the doubt and I´ll have to think about it from now til nex Monday jejejORIGINAL: aquill1

jejej The more expensive until now has been the headlamps that was unexpected
Therests of the current updates are only small details not so expensive. And still I have to find good wheels for it andthe paint the next week, nothing cheaper... But I hope it will worth the trouble after all when I complete the whole upgrades.
