2009 XType 2.1. Well It finally happened, I went shopping this morning and when I shut down the car the radiator fan was running and wouldn't shut off. Checked coolant level - all topped up and temp gauge normal so it wasn't a heat issue. I wasn't sure if it would shut off after a few minutes so I went shopping - when I came back 40 minutes later the fan was still running. Luckily the repairer was working so I phoned him and brough the car straight there after dropping off my shopping.

I know this issue has been covered before but to save me searching could someone please advise what the likeliest cause of this issue would be? Stuck relay? Something else?
