Not sure if you have nav or not but if you do, the clock is set through the menu on the screen. |
no nav the list said cd player but i sure cant find one. also the tc light wont light up? are the pedals adj in these cars?thanks
for the cd player, check the trunk for a changer.
for the seat, yes you can take it out and manually crank it down, but its not easy because its not designed that way, also when you lower the seat its harder to get the seat bolts in, a set of gearwrenches should do the trick. we have the same issue with hte 02 x type, i found out its actually the gears are stripped because i can hear it trying to lower the seat but it just wont go... i have replacements off one that caught fire but its a little different, or the control switch is jammed, so im gonna have to combine the 2 to make it work...hopefully |
well no cd player, how do i set the clock with no nav? and when i pull the fog light to the 2nd pull what does this do?thanks
The 2nd pull on the fog light switch turns on the REAR fog lights.

Here is how to set the clock--silly this is NOT in the owner's manual!
Press and hold the mode button with the radio on. This will bring up a screen, select 12 or 24 hour scale, depending on what your preference is...press mode again...now enter the time with the keypad, using a "0" before the hour,if the hour is not in double digits. Press mode again...Now use the # button to change from AM to PM. Hope this helps! |

lol not manual for sure, but the clock setting can be very confusing. i remember when i was trying to set mine. those are the correct instructions.

you guys have helped alot. do all the 3.0 xtype 2002 supposed to have cd changers? i hear some poping in the rear sometimes at take off should i be concerned?
No, I have a 2002, 3.0 and only have the radio with the single CD slot.
mine dont even have that, i mean it would be obvious, not hidden right lol? just cant see a 2002 having a cassette only! also when you pull the headlight switch out for the fog lights what does the second click supposed to do cause i cant tell anything? thanks
As I posted above, when you pull the light switch out all the way--the 2nd click, it turns on the REAR FOG LIGHTS.
If you say that the seat works in all directions then the seat should come down, try moving the tilts (forward & back), they should bring you down, if not the plastic gear inside a striped. They will need to be replaced.
cool thanks again, yea i didnt have to take out the seat just the one bolt then manually turned the adjusting screw until the seat was in it lowest position. i think the gear is stripped your right. still cant believe it dont have a cd player!!
