Had an incident where the front offside tyre started rubbing against the suspension spring. Mechanic replaced spring, damper and top mount but still a noisy clunk when going over bumps. Mechanic took it apart again and reckons the new top mount, a pattern part, is not the right item and that only a factory original top mount will do. However Jaguar has none in stock and none are expected anytime soon. Does anyone know if the top mount is the issue or what?
