Default 2011 Jaguar XF Sport Limited Edition

2011 Jaguar XF Sport Limited Edition, is this a dealer creating something that isn't generally available? This is the first "sport edition" I've seen.

I've never of one being advertised but the closest I could come to it would be an option offered on the base Jag at least: Build your XF - OPTIONS
Note the first option, seems only 500 units being offered in this configuration.

Body side moulding kit, fancy chrome fake fender vents (Portfolio trim in the UK) and a particular 19 inch alloy. Oh yes, and the letter "S" to impress your friends. Nothing remotely sporting in the kit. Price is fantastically high for such a small amount of stuff.

I've always disliked calling a trim package "sport" when there isn't any performance or handling improvements. I'll keep dreaming of the Super Charged, or a gently used XFR

That's a good decision, IMHO. After living with my XFR for a bit now, I think all XFs should be tuned that way, at least as far as handling is concerned. Even in XFR trim, the car is still very comfortable, and yet it handles well. This is my opinion, as a driver coming from a BMW e39 M5 with a Dinan suspension.
