Default 2012 XF S - bought it today. Need rid of chrome!

So, only signed up on here today. Been Jaguar mad since I was about 5 years old. I'm 27 now and have had a few older models, my favourite being an XJR supercharged, but today I bought a 2012 XFS 3.0 diesel.

I need to have the wheels done to factory spec (grey with diamond cut rim), and the chrome has be swapped for gloss black. Do I just buy new parts, or have them painted or wrapped? What do people do? Would be nice to do the window surrounds, grille surrounds, rear light bar things, front bumper lower parts and side vent things.

Any advise before i start??

thanks in advance!

New parts are very pricey. Quite a few people on here have wrapped or plastidip with good results. Search around. Added advantage that it's reversible

What does XF-S mean in the U.K. Market. What's the engine and trim level?

Ok, thanks! il have a look.

its 275bhp 3.0 V6 diesel, 8 speed

it's a premium luxury model, as far as I can work out- the "s" means more bhp over a standard 3.0 XF, sports seats, 20" Draco wheels, spoiler and black grille, and maybe bigger brakes and callipers painted?? I'm not 100% but I think that's right!

Standard 3.0 twin turbo diesel = 240 PS and 500 Nm, "S" version = 275 PS and 600 Nm.
No difference other than tune and an unconfirmed rumour of a mildly modified freer flowing exhaust system. The only other major mechanical differences are the S came standard with the 355 mm front brakes, the cooking model had the base 326 mm front brakes, and the later model S came standard with adaptive suspension and the cooking model had it as an option.
