2016 Jaguar XF entertainment system not booting up, does absolutely nothing. Had the car running while cleaning the car and was on the phone to my wife via Bluetooth. Then conversation ended which isn’t uncommon 😂 but soon realised I hadn’t bored my wife but in fact had bored the car jag to the point it will no longer load the entertainment system up which we all know has control over things like satnav, radio and reverse camera. Any help is massively appreciated! Thanks

 

Well I will give the standard first answer here?
How old is the battery? You have a 2016? Just a note but my factory battery lasted 10+ years in my 2014 XJR so they can last a long time.
Have you measured the voltage? Car off and car running?

If it's not new I would start there and report back?

Sorry should have given abit more information, so I’ve checked all fuses and no problems there and I have noticed that recently the rear window heater has stopped working which I’m assuming will be last prioty when it comes to power distribution! Battery is a Jaguar one but I was assured when we bought the car it was a new battery from the dealership 🙃 I’ll be checking the voltage tomorrow morning once I’ve picked my van up. Thanks
