Exclamation Adaptive Dynamics Fault XFR

Hello Everyone,

Hope you're doing well and keeping safe.

I am getting an adaptive dynamic fault on my 2012 Jaguar XFR for the past week now. Symptoms include no dynamic mode or sport mode features, and the biggest issue is the terrible ride. I had diagnosed the car and cleared the fault with a diagnostic tool, after about 30 kms of the car being back to normal the fault reappeared. Would anyone know what the issue may be? If its a low battery voltage or a ride height sensor?

Also, would anyone happen to have a workshop manual for the 2012 XF -XFRs ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Cheers!!

Do you happen to remember the code it threw? If so, do a quick search online for a description of the fault.

There's a full 2010 manual + a lot of other useful stuff here:

Check wires and plugs that go into the shocks, they default to the hard setting if there is no voltage being sent to even a single shock. Aside from that you would need to pull codes to figure out which sensor or module is failing to communicate.

I feel your pain, i have an xkr 2010 with the same problem - error codes saying RR shock, but ohms across circuit check out (3.2). have replaced shock anyway, which admittedly was foolish as shock checked out, but this is an intermittent fault, which only occurs when the car moves. if you find the answer - please post, as may help me. but you are right when it triggers the fault the ride is quite harsh especially on country roads.

Hi all, having the same fault. Standard fault code reader won't point to which sensor had likely failed so I'm looking for the ADCM module so i can test the circuit to and from each sensor BUT I can't find the module. Anybody know where it is and what it looks like in a 2010 XFR? Looking behind the RH rear seats but can't determine it
