Hey guys, tons of Iphone users here, I have a galaxy S5 and have a little issue getting this thing working, I hope someone can offer some advice....

I get the device hooked up and everything seems well, but when the music plays on my phone, the dash display says "paused" and no matter what I do, it stays that way.

Anyone experience that? Or am I overlooking something obvious?

forgot to mention... 2010 XKR

cheers

Hey Kayonite run over to their US distributor and get us the run down, if you can't. I can next week.

I would be surprised to see you get full functionality on the Tune2Air using an Android device. The Tune2Air uses the iPhone digital protocol to control the phone and it is probably not compatible with Android. This is not fact, just my assumption based on my experiences.

I have no issues with mine, 2010 xkr with S5 galaxy. I only use Google play, to play music though, so maybe try using different source? Unpairing, turning phone off, etc.

I ditched Sat radio, bought a program that converts all my downloaded music to MP3 and loads them on a thumb drive to labeled folders (Jazz, Oldies, Rap etc.) I now have 11gb of music that the Jag see's just fine to play..lol

What program is that? And what bit rate choices does it provide?

I ordered the Tune2Air off of Amazon for my 2011 XF Premium and it works greats. Just like having your iPhone attached via hardwire cable. Very impressed by this device.

Yeah it seems the device works perfectly for most people, on most devices. I am now going on the assumption that my Tune2Air device itself may be defective, so I returned it. I will prob purchase another and see (hope) it works. I was suspecting that it was an issue with my usb port in the car, but it works fine when I plug in a USB stick and other devices like that so I'm thinking its not that. We shall see. Thanks for all the advice and tips everyone!

I have good experience with WMA1000 - which seems to be discontinued on the manufacturer's web pages. Both with Jaguar ACM (with latest MB sw update) and with XF iPod connection.

The latest sw version supports Windows Phone and Android, in addition to iPhone. I updated the sw in mine, with the tools available at the manufacturer's web pages, and have been using a Lumia phone and streaming music from Spotify. Note that one step in the update process requires a code request by email from the manufacturer. I got mine as soon as they were back to work in Taiwan.

"WMA3000 is suitable for those which have not bought an optional iPod cable for their vehicle. If the optional iPod cable is already obtained then, WMA1000 will be more suitable"

If you do not have the ipod cable this would be the one to get if you do have the cable get the 1000, the ipod cable is integrated into the 3000 it appears

I have the cable, but WMA1000 is out of stock and with a pretty high price tag on ebay.
I can buy WMA3000 from Amazon, cheaper.
The problem is that I cannot find anyone that can confirm/infirm that is working with Jaguar system.

I doubt that the cable is the only difference.
I'll order a WMA3000 and I'll tell my experience.

I ordered one yesterday from Amazon Prime (so I can return it if it sucks). I'll let you know when it arrives, which is supposed to be tomorrow.

Just got it and.... it doesn't fit the connection. To be fair, it doesn't specifically say Jaguar, so maybe it's a different connector. I ordered
this one this one
because it seemed the most correct. There's nothing on Amazon for this adapter that lists Jaguar though.
