Cleaning EGR with wynn ERG cleaner

Hi, ive just got a 2014 2.2 xf (60k miles) and have what appears to be quite a common problem. The pick up from stationary is very restricted for up to a couple of seconds, then the engine picks up ok. Reading these forums its quite clear that this is an EGR issue that need cleaning. So i have got Wynn Diesel clean fuel additive which is quite obvious how to use. I also have the ERG cleaner spray, i appreciate that this needs to be sprayed into the air inlet, but not sure exactly where. There appears to be conflicting advice. Anyone know how best to spray this in the air intake (pic would be perfect). Cheers
