Okay I'm confused I have had my car for 6 months somebody told me that there's a button somewhere that pops open the gas tank I don't know if that's true which I kind of find it hard to believe that I've been pressed opening this thing for 6 months and it's really a pain cuz sometimes it doesn't open up when I press it and I have to get the exact point of what to do unless there's some kind of Grease or oil I could be spring in some kind of area where I could pop open easily also my trunk does not swing open I have to lift it after it pops open someone told me after I saw a video that the two struts shocks on the side should pop it open automatically please give me some insight I'm sure someone here has an xfr and they can answer my questions about both of these things thank you and I really appreciate it here's a picture of my car

No there is no button for fuel flap. Button on fob will open trunk/boot of course.

No button for gas tank cover as mentioned above. It's just a push to open and push to close. Mine still works perfectly after 10 years so I'm guessing yours must be bent or the spring clip is failing.

For the boot/trunk yes the button on the dash or key fob unlocks it and it pops a tiny bit up. But it doesn't open all the way. Just an inch and you have to lift it open and close it manually

So it sounds like yours is operating as intended.

I suggest you spray the gas tank access mechanism with WD40.
