Ok this is a stupid question but I can't seem to figure it out - my interior lights aren't working as expected with the doors. Meaning when I open the doors the car is dark but if I then turn on the interior lights by tapping the front middle one all the lights come on - but they stay on. They don't turn off when you either lock the doors or start the car. Seems no matter what I do I can't get them into the right "mode" so they just work like a regular car. Any ideas on what I'm missing?

Sounds like someone has fiddled with or replaced one or more of your interior light globes.
The fix is to press the front centre light cover for about four seconds, which should reset your interior lights. If successful the interior lights should flash a couple of times.
