Hi all!

I've got a 2011 XF which i really enjoy, i think it's a fantastic car. One thing, however, is that I have one of the pre-facelift models with the standard halogen bulbs, and I find that on dark nights it doesn't really do too much of a good job lighting up the road ahead.

Does anyone have any knowledge about / experience with upgrading the standard halogen headlights to the brighter xenon variety. I bought used and wish these had xenon's but during the day was something that slipped my mind when buying.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help!!!

You can replace the headlight units with the xenon units from the pre facelift. You can't put the newer facelift units in unless you plan to change the front wings, bonnet and possibly the bumper.
The bumper might be ok but not 100% sure. I know some people here in the uk have done it.

Lots of kits (EBay) around to do that, hardest part is usually finding a place to mount the ballast.
