Hello, I am new to this forum (or any forum), but I would really appreciate some advice/ help. I live in Dublin and the car originates here (not a second hand import).
I bought a 2013 Jaguar XF Sportbrake about a year ago, and am generally very happy with it. There are 2 issues which are making it a less-than-perfect experience though. The first, and more annoying one, is that after a few months the sat nav intermittently “went” to Brussels. It usually lasted a few trips but then reverted. About 3 months ago it stopped reverting and is permanently showing a Belgian display . I’ve seen this exact problem on the Jaguar forum from 2017 but not seen the solution. There is a USB input which I think is there instead of a DVD.
Can anyone help?
The second issue is that the LED strip in the driver’s side headlight always comes on when starting up but sometimes (maybe 50% of the time) knocks off during the trip. Again any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have no specific experience of this Sat Nav issue on Jags but have seen the same thing on other vehicles (Volvo) and is usually caused by a failed GPS Antenna signal.

 

Does your vehicle have correct date/time settings?
