Sunroof wind noise
We finally have some decent weather here and last night around 10pm was a perfect evening to drive home from work with the sunroof open- but the wind noise is unbearable! Wondering how others find this and if there is any way to stop it.
I've had many cars with sunroofs and the only one that was nice and quiet at highway speed was a 1988 Range Rover. Even the 1995 RR with identical body shape had too much wind noise from the sunroof.
If I reach up and hold the wind deflector down, the noise is loud and low frequency; with the wind deflector up it is higher frequency but just as loud. Anything over about 80km/hr (50mph) it's just too noisy which is a pity. Would love to know if it is possible to reduce the noise and enjoy the open top.
