We were talking about that one time on forum, but finally no one gave a definitive answer.
What is the minimum alloy wheels diameter which I can fit to XFR ?
Is it the only one option to fit 20" wheels? (because of the brake disc and caliper size )?
Or maybe someone just has tried to put the 19" wheels???
Which models of Jaguar 19" wheels can fit?
Does someone have some experiences with XFR wheels?
The reason of my question, is just because I would like to buy another wheels and tires for winter time and I'm not sure if my XFR will let me put 19" rims.
Thank You for some help.
Best regards
Adam

I had the same issue with my 2010 XF SC which I believe has the same large calipers as the XFR. In general it seemed that 20 inch wheels were the way to go to ensure they cleared the calipers on the front wheels. A few people on this forum did manage to get some 19inch wheels to fit (one or two of the Jag wheels in 19inch seemed to fit and a couple of aftermarket). There are a couple of old threads on this that mentioned the specific wheel names. But in general it seemed pretty hit and miss and several of us tried and failed to find a good 19inch solution for these models. I ended up just getting winter tyres for the OEM 20inch wheels and swap them on and off each season. Not convenient - but it works really well. I would have liked to go to 19 inch with more sidewall but just couldn't get a good answer on which wheels really fit.
Thank You very much for Your respond. Finally I've made some researches yesterday and I've found Your old thread about XFR (XF/SC) wheels. So after reading this I decided to buy 20" winter tires. I've also decided to put 285/30/20 on rear axles, because I got quite good price for those. I dont know exactly which size would be better for winter on rear (285/30 or 255/35). I also prefer higher sidewall tires . There is many opinion in this case. But the guys from, one of the biggest tires trading company, told me that this is not a good idea to put the same size tires on different rims width, and the car manufacturers don't recommend such actions. So I also quit 255/35/20 option on rear.
The most amazing is the fact , that Jaguar authorized service personnel couldn't answer me which 19" rims will fit to XFR. (or if some of them will fit at all) .
Best regards

Atyp , I was going to suggest clicking on my name and finding the threads started by me (jaguny). There's a thread on this issue and Bigcat09 had and XFR that he put oem 19's on. I have the same size tires on rear as front for winter. I would recommend a second set of wheels for winter as there is a potential for installer to rip your tires with 20's . There are only two installers in my area I trust to do the exchange and they charge $160 each time. I am considering new summer wheels and leaving the winter set on the OEMs.
Hi Adam - like you I went with a staggered setup with 285s on the rear and 255s on the front, just like the standard tyres. It drives perfectly like that in the snow and you're not trying to stretch the 255s to fit the wider rear wheels (although I know a few people have done that and it sounds like it works fine too).
Jaguny - is there a real risk of ripping the tyres - and why is that a risk with 20 inch but not with 19 or 18? It hadn't occured to me that there was a potential issue. I've had mine changed at the Jag dealer in the past, but was going to try a local tyre shop this spring - so interested if you feel there is a risk here.
Thanks!

BritCars; both shops that switch mine out say that there is a higher risk of tire damage with 20's due to low sidewalk rubber. This and aluminum alloy wheels is why they say they charge $40 per tire to do the changeover. It could be just their justifying explanation, but both say the same thing. Make sure the local shop is experienced. It's their risk not yours as they should pay for a damaged tire or wheel.
I've already order the tires so, I will confirm (or no) if there will be some risk with changing tires on 20", soon. I suppose there is no any risk, but I'm sure the operation is more expansive dute to fact , that many shops or vulcanizers dosnt support the 20" wheels exchange because they dont have proper machine to balance the 20" wheels.
