Coolant Hose Under Supercharger?
I am planning an overhaul of my 2013 XJ 3.0 AWD soon including coolant pump, pipes, hoses, and supercharger snout replacement. I have had a lot of difficulty in the manuals and parts diagrams identifying the hose that is routed underneath the supercharger.
could someone tell me the part number? I want to replace if I’m in there. Thanks in advance! Attached is an example image from the F-Type V6 supercharger removal tutorial: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...1ca270592.jpeg https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...tailed-241371/ |
I think that might be C2Z28432.
BUT first, search that part number, or call a dealership & tell them you need the part # for the hose that goes from the rear heater manifold (or cross-over pipe) to the throttle body. ...to make sure it's the one. It's one of the 2 throttle body hoses, & I believe that is the long one that runs under the intake manifold. UPDATE - I just put eyes on one I have and I'm sure that's the one, but do your own confirmation anyway. |
Thanks, 12jagmark!
I attempted to look up the matching 3.0 V6 hose but had to call the dealer instead. They gave me this part number for the throttle body hose. Hopefully this is what I need, it’s in the mail later this week. C2Z18677 https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...101babe3e.jpeg |
Arggh- Sorry about that. I looked in haste & didn't think about the 6 cylinder probably being a little shorter then the V8 hose.:icon_bricks:

Oh my goodness, removing the supercharger from the engine intake was a piece of work! I ended up cracking one of the clips that hold this hose to the underside of the supercharger…it was baked pretty good I bet, one touch of my pliers did her in. Hopefully it’ll be ok! I’ll plan to zip tie to the rear heater manifold to prop it up a bit.

I'd assume a new clip comes with the hose as it does with the V8 hose anyway.

Can anyone confirm if the new hose does indeed come with the clips attached? Much appreciated! |

I used a black zip tie on the back side to the rear heater manifold to lift up this hose since the back clip broke. I would definitely order both clips if you can find the part number. Not a place to zip tie on the front. |

Hi this is the part number, and no it does not come with either of the two clips:

Thanks for the speedy reply. The hunt will continue for the clip part numbers. I'll report back if I figure it out.
