Which Fuel Filter fit on XJ V8 SC 2011 Petrol?
Hi
I have a Jaguar XJ V8 SC 2011 (Full Options), Petrol type. Please tell me Brand and Part No. of Fuel Filter that fit on it. Also note: ebay or amazon link of that product. Thanks All. |
Can't say if it is accurate :
https://www.autozone.com/filters-and...jaguar/xj/2011 Nope / Their computer is confused |
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...j&_sacat=33660
See the C2D25076 and C2Z10550 reference numbers if it is accurate : https://parts.jaguarpalmbeach.com/p/.../C2D25076.html Note that part number C2Z10550 has been updated : http://www.jaguarpartsinternational....p/c2z10550.htm See Jaguar ( XF ) TSB covering the mounting : https://www.carmd.com/Tsb/Download/95275/J027NAS1 Recommend looking into this for the XJ TSB's https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...lletins-47469/ |
Thank you so much.
God bless you |
Just to ask a silly question, how often are others changing their fuel filter? I just looked in the recommended service manual and it states to change the fuel filter every 10 years or 150K miles. That seems like a long time to me. Is the filter that good?

Since the filter is on the low pressure side and fuels are filtered at the pump I see this as OK. Here in the US I only use "Top Fuel" designated gas as it is the proper detergent level and is fully filtered.

This seems to be common on DI cars?
My wife has a 2013 Lincoln MKS with the 3.5L Twin Turbo ECO-Boost. The fuel filter is inside the fuel tank and is considered lifetime. Same thing with the transmission filter. You can't change it without removing the transmission. . . . |
