TSB Technical Service Bulletins

TSB Technical Service Bulletins
Hi finally got a complete list of all the TSB's and so on. Now, I am not sure how far it is legal to simply post them here, but nevertheless they should be shared. I will compile a PDF file of them within the next couple of days.
The bad: They are not meant for the layman everyday customer. It would spook them for no good reason. Understandably they won't be advertised and probably shouldn't as most people won't understand what they really mean. They are meant for expert technicians who can understand their meanings.
The not so bad: Yes, as with any new car there are a number of improvements and fixes Jaguar listed in them
The better: To me they indicate that Jaguar is doing a really good job of listening to customers and dealers, implementing fixes and communicate those findings with their dealers.
The good: Nothing in there really sounds major considering such a new and complex vehicle.
And FYI they are PUBLICLY available at Jaguar's own website for a small fee. That tells me they are not trying to hide anything.
Contact me with a PM if you'd like to see a copy.

Gears, if you would prefer not to have the 'responsibility' for the TSB distribution, just PDF what you have, and email them to me (my email is in my member profile) and I'll upload them to the forum. Its very much appreciated, the new XJ model does not even have a FAQ sticky page yet, so this will give me a good reason to begin one. This forum succeeds when we have members like you who take the time and effort to compile information and share it with the rest of the community. You get an official 'forum thanks' for your hard work.

Great idea. I just sent you a PM.
FMY my 2003 Jaguar XK8 looks almost exactly like yours. Same color. Only thing different is, I put a mesh grille in. That is my 2nd XK8 after my '97 died of bad timing chain tensioners at 100k mls. I love those cars. Bought them used, never regreted it, lot of value for the money....and....not that hard to keep running perfectly at reasonable cost.as long as....well, have a forum like this.
