2014 XJL Portfolio Gas

A few weeks ago all of the buttons on the center console audio/climate control panel simply stopped responding. Oddly, the Hazard indicator does respond, but nothing else. The touch screen comes on but most of the controls don't work when pressed. I can control the audio from the steering wheel controls and the navigation works using voice commands. Do you think this is a control panel problem $$$$ or could it be something else, like a control unit.
