I've got a spare x305 steering rack I pulled in a wrecking yard I'd like to rebuild. I see Rock Auto has 3 varieties of pump rebuild kits, anyone got an opinion on which is best as I've read about issues with seals not fitting.
In other x305 news i've refurbished my sun roof mechanism, repainted sun damaged paint on roof and rear wings and putting in a new headliner. Now everything's looking shiny and pretty the steering rack in the car has started growling. May be nothing but having a spare on the shelf seems a good idea
Looking for a wood kit if anyone has any door trim etc, mine is pretty faded.

Edelmann is the only real brand of the three you listed… I’ve done quite a few power steering pumps with their product, but never a rack. The illegible generic instructions included are useless.
