I've searched here and on the Net.

The motor and frame seem to be wrapped around the brake booster.

The nuts holding the brake booster are not accessable, at least by me.

If you have any ideas, I'd be grateful,

It's the worst job on the car according to a mechanic I once spoke to, although replacing the electric handbrake actuator us up there with it !! I believe the brake booster has to come off to get it out. It would seem that the car is built around the wiper mechanism, (only joking !).
