What model and years of CD Changers will fit my 2008 XJ?

I have the same question. Many hours searching and not definate clue on the web. I hear that for 2008 the cable in the back of the CD changer may have gone fiber optic. I think the CD changer that has been used since 2002 only works on cars up to 2007 and that CD changer model number is 1X43-18C830-AC. So what is the model number for a 2008 XJ8 car?

The parts manual only shows two part numbers for the CD changer:

C2C18740 To VIN (H21676)

and

C2C38055 from VIN (H21677)

The later module also appears to supersede the earlier one.

The main changes I can see for the facelift models is optional HD radio or satellite radio and a new, combined, bluetooth/PSE module now housed in the boot.

There is a high speed MOST network to support the digital radio offerings but the CD changer appears to still be on the D2B network.
