Any reason for no signal from Lambda O2 sensors?
'08 n/a X358, 80k miles. I think my old scanner is just not up to the job and so I am about to replace it. Specifically right now, it just shows zero signals from any of the O2 sensors. A visual inspection shows them all to be in place and plugged in. I can't believe I would actually have a problem not reading ANY of them. It must be the reader, right? I have no O2 sensor CEL codes (although I'm fighting bad MAF/running rich in both banks codes).
Is there any chance that points to a different, real problem, or should I just go out and buy a newer scanner? Many thanks! |
A Jaguar specific reader is a must, to read many Jaguar codes.
Most any scanner should read the O2 sensors, they are needed for emissions |
