I just had some ceramic tint put on my Super V8, and I haven't even driven the car yet, but I'm assuming I'll like it (I did 35%, which I think is a perfect amount for this car).
The shop has 70% ceramic tint as well, which the guy said he installs on people's windshields pretty often. Anyone here have experience with windshield tint, ceramic or not? I like the idea of fully keeping the heat out of the car, including through the front.

Hated it. Could not see well at dusk and at night. Plus in Texas it will not pass inspection.
The job was done very well. No wrinkles. Used a clothes steamer to remove.
Don't think tinting the windshield is a good idea for dusk/night time driving, although I wish the windshield glass could change shade depending on lighting conditions like my Transitions eyeglasses.
Years ago I had this tint film called 'Autolux' put on my '86 XJ6 Series-III. I would park the car in hot Southern California sun for hours and the interior would always be cool. Sure miss the old Kitty.
