A few people asked me to post a video of the blower whine on my 2004xjr. Modifications are only the Caldoofy 3.5" inlet and Mina Gallery intake kit with cold air divider and factory cold air scoop hooked up (Photos in my mod thread) Anyway I still need to redyno but here is the video. Plastic cover is still on my IC's...For some reason I cant post the video (yes I made sure size and format was ok. Let me know if this works:O)

Here's an video I shot back in 2001 or 2002 from my Lightning - the blower whine sound is identical. For what it's worth, on the day I took a test drive in the XJR with my wife, she commented that it sounded exactly like the Lightning but the whine on the Jaguar was extremely quiet in comparison.
The microphone was inside and the bullet cam was under the hood. The light flashing was the underhood light turning on/off. Back then, there were some owners theorizing that the rubber intake was collapsing from the supercharger vacuum. Theory de-bunked.
