I bought a 2006 XJ8L and it has some issues. 1 the remote does not work, is there a battey in it?? i pulled it apart and do not see a battery. 2. the pedals do not adjust properly.3. the rear speakers do not work, and 4. the fuel gauge only reads 3/4 full when it is filled to the max. i have the car slated to go into the shop so i am not worried about the repairable items, i will have that fixed at the shop, i would like to know if there is a battery and does anyone know what brand or # it is?? i got the car for a steal and it is a dream to drive and runs like a rocket!! has power to spare i love it.. Black on black, it is loaded with all the toys, Nav, Blue tooth, front and rear parking sensors, rear sun screen, front and rear heated seats, 19" chrome wheels with almost new tires. and super clean. so the question is does anyone know where the key remote battery lives and what one do i need to replace it?

YES!!!! Thank you so very much!! i Knew i would get the correct answer, everyone on this forum is amazing!!!
Congrats on the XJ8L. I also have a 2006 XJ8L and I really like it. Question on the pedals, do they not adjust at all or do they have only a little bit of adjustment? Mine has about 4 inches to play with so I'm inclined to think there may be something blocking their movement.
