You need both to make it work.

PSE module goes in the trunk. It is the main "brain" for the phone function in the car. It is made to interface with a phone that is wired in the center console.

The bluetooth module replaces the wired phone interface with a bluetooth radio. The BT module goes in the center console.

You also need a microphone - mounts in the headliner - and a passtrough clip if you don't have the voice module installed.
