Default Cd changer woes

I have started dailying my x350 several weeks ago as my normal daily is undergoing a big project. Have owned it for 3 years and done about 10k miles in that time.

I had been listening to the trunk mounted 6 disc. The in dash slot refuses to accept a cd. As of last week the “CDC” button does absolutely nothing.

No message comes up on the Navi at all. It’s almost as if the button failed. Cycling through the sources on the steering wheel also has no effect. The cd carriage ejects just fine and cycles through the discs and spins them up etc. upon loading it back in. What do you gents think the issue might be? The fiber connection?

Thanks

I suggest that you scan for codes and check the fuses (listed in the OM).

Sounds like a D2B network error.
