Can anyone tell me if there was a factory subwoofer and if so, what the location is? Thought I'd ask here first before tearing the car apart looking for it. My XJ8 came with the standard audio system, no NAV.

Plan on having a Kenwood DDX23BT dvd receiver (into an X-Type adapter-hope it looks O.K. ), two pairs of MB Quart DCi 216 components and a Crunch PZX 1800.4 amp installed one of these days.

I'm not a thumper ( ) but if the MB's are too lite on the bass (they say 20hz but, really? I don't think so) then I'll add a sub, in the factory location if there is one.

If there isn't one then suggestions on what to get, and where to put it, would be great.
