Glove Box Dead- 2004 XJ8

2004 XJ8 glove box no longer works.. nothing happens when button pushed... fuse is ok...
Suggestions please?

You may have accidentally put the car into "valet" mode. In this mode the glovebox will not open, or the boot for that matter.

Thanks however not in valet mode....

try locking the vehicle with the key then unlock with the key.
