Default Has anyone knowledge of the E brake fault coming and going?

My 07 XJR is having an issue. The BRAKE like illuminates and I get the RED light on the dash. Then the orange light comes on sporadically and gives me a E brake fault code. I work the E brake on and off about 7-8 times and then turn off the car, start it back up and the fault light and code are gone. What is this? Please advise. Can this be sensor be removed. The E brakes work perfectly.

Generally the fault will come up if the EPB takes too long to engage.

I would check the battery first, then do the EPB calibration and have the codes read
After having the codes read you may wish to check out TSB XJ206-07 that deals with this fault

Cheers

Default can you provide a download or link, battery not an issue

Battery is New Jaguar Battery so that isn't the issue. Where do I find the TSB bulletin? What does it say? Can you cut and paste the information for me please? Never mind I found the TSB but Im guessing this isn't warrantied even though they know about the issue. It is intermittent and the damn things work perfectly. Also, the second I hit the switch the brake motors come on and are locked within a half second. No, lag time what so ever

No warranty for an '07 but probably not too expensive. TSBs tend to be for parts that don't all fail, so are fixed free under warranty but not after. All car makers are the same on this. Only safety recalls are buckshee.
