Default Help...brake failure?!

In replacing pads and rotors along with one bad caliper....after careful bleeding of all the brakes and the master fluid container (really bad old fluid) I lost my brakes completely? My mechanic and I pumped up all four calipers with engine off. A lot of pushing the pedal to the floor stuff. Did I blow out a vacuum line to the booster....is there a vacuum line to the booster? I need a video to replace the entire brake unit and can not find one on Utube 2004 JAG XJ8... No Supercharger....any help much appreciated here.
Thanks, WINGMANDWN

search: "brake bleeding" on the forum. Sooo many posts that explain bleeding issues.. These cars brake systems are a pita to bleed without the right equipment. Old school processes won't work.

What he said. ^^^^^

There is a procedure in the manual and pumping the brakes isn't it. Abandon that, forget the vacuum bleeders and get a pressure bleeder. Best $75 you'll spend. Connects to the master cylinder fill reservoir.

Start with bleeding the rear passenger, then rear driver side, then passenger front, then driver front.
