I have just added a 2005 XJ8 L to my garage with just over 71k miles – Dove grey interior with Quartz exterior which is a glorious colour in the sun.

Having frequented the X-type and S-Type forums I find myself now looking to this forum for the first time as a regular reader for help & advice and possible a future contributor.

First order of business is a thorough service. The additional space is quite incredible especially compared to the STR which now positively makes you feel like a sardine in a can.

Despite mine being the biggest Jaguar I have ever had, my daughter still manages to fill the boot completely when going to/from university each term !

And when I had my '80 XJ6 20 years ago and she was a baby the baby kit also filled that up too, including the rear seat space around her baby seat.

 

She fills the trunk completely? When I went to college before/after each term, I could fill a whole VAN!

 

I always tell my daughter she has more than Madonna takes on a tour !!
