Default Nicest X350 I've Seen? Probably.

Dang. Indigo Super V8, 35K miles, Sepangs. Perfect condition. At $30K, or thereabouts, it's appropriately priced. IF I were in the market, I'd pull the trigger. Wow.

Mine is that nice. Always garaged, nothing wrong with it, amazing service history, and I agree it is priced right.

Smile Great.

Nice find.
Great photos.
Wish it was mine.
Prettier than my white 05 vdp, but not by much.
I like my 31 mpg on the highway, though...

I liked it until I started the video and heard the hostess say "Jag-wire" (eeek!)
How do you guys pronounce the word?

Cheers,
Wolfy

Beautiful indeed, considering mine has the same colour and has lower specifications than the advertised model!

Wrong timing, and location for me. Otherwise, I'd snap it :-(

i noticed the Jag Wire pronunciation. The sad fact is that all the words in those horrendous auto-generated videos, using the dealer-provided photo stock, use pre-recorded words, where an announcer says all the words needed to generate these "videos" for just about every car that used car dealers sell. So, every time a web shopper plays a video for a Jaguar, this is the pronunciation they hear. I've personally heard that blasted woman say Jag WIRE countless times. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

plums, how about going all out with a diamond tucked naugahyde treatment?

Default Indigo on Super V8s

Hi, this is my first post. I hope to acquire, next year, a Jaguar XJ x350 2006-2007, and I have had my eye on the Super V8. I saw the online listing (non-eBay) for this exact car and my jaw dropped. This is EXACTLY what I want. Love the Indigo color -- I didn't think Super V8s came in it. I have a picture of a British-market Daimler Super Eight in this exact color combination, and was wishing it were available in the US on the Super V8s. Now I see it was. Interior color is perfect, too. (The 20" Sepangs look great, but actually I'd probably prefer 19" wheels -- let's not start a wheel debate -- not the time or place).

Is Indigo a special-order color on North American Super V8s?

Welcome Tee-eye. Indigo seems as though it was available as a "standard" color for the Super V8 in 2007, according to Yahoo Autos:
Colors - 2007 Jaguar XJ-Series Super V8 - Yahoo! Autos

Hey, I opted for 19's when I bought in, so I won't argue with you. I do love the look of the wagon wheels (Sepangs) personally, but you'll get no debate from me.

Another note: I believe after looking at this car again, that it riding lower than the factory set ride height. It looks that way to me. My car seems to sit higher than that. No way to tell for sure from pictures, but it looks very subtly and very beautifully lowered.

I wish you success finding the right car for you, Tee-eye. Don't hesitate to query this forum and us fellow members for guidance and advice. I most definitely would not be a Jaguar owner if I hadn't found this invaluable online resource.

Thanks, SuperTrav, for the helpful comments.

I see from your link, as well as this one (See 2007 Jaguar XJ Color Options - CarsDirect), that indeed for the 2007 MY Indigo Blue was available on the Super V8. It appears that all of the colors were available on all models across the XJ range.

I had looked at the MY 2006 colors for the XJ range (here: See 2006 Jaguar XJ Color Options - CarsDirect) and saw that Indigo was not available on the SV8 that year.

Yes, that 2007 Indigo Super V8 in the Dallas area does appeared lowered. I downloaded nearly every photo from the listing I found here!: 2007 Jaguar XJ Supercharged | REAR DVD, NAV, HEATED SEATS, BTOOTH, 20IN WHEELS Carrollton, Texas | E-CarOne.com

I have spent an inordinate amount of time on this forum searching for information over the past several months. I think I am quite well-informed now about Jaguars of the 2000s! Including the X350-358 Super V8s! While I have never owned a Jag, my dad, who died two years ago (leaving a 2005 S-type 4.2 VDP that went to my brother) owned three XJs over his life, beginning with a MY 1973 XJ12 Series I, which was a marvelous car. He had fallen in love with the XJ during a half-year sabbatical in England.

Hopefully I'll surface again on the forum next year, ready to make a purchase or having already acquired a Jaguar!

Thomas

Default eBay -- listing doesn't show up in searches

On that eBay Motors listing, the weird thing is, I can't find it in a search on eBay. I was able to follow the link SuperTrav provided in the original post, but that listing doesn't come up when I search either using the filters on the left side, or even just in a search on all of eBay Motors for the exact title of the listing: "2007 Jaguar Super V8 Supercharged". I see that the listing is categorized under Jaguar > XJ8, but for some reason it just doesn't appear in my searches. (And I have done a lot of searches on eBay -- I've bought over 100 items on eBay, and years ago I would do eBay searches as part of what I do for work.)

SuperTrav, how did you find it? Does anyone have any thoughts on why this listing is not showing up in my searches?

That Indigo 2007 Super V8 with Sepangs is still the best I've seen, but I thought forum members might be interested to know about the phenomenal deal someone just got on a 2006 Super V8 Portfolio on eBay: Jaguar : Other XJ in Jaguar | eBay Motors
Winning bid was $22,500. 72k miles.
Personally I'm not that interested in the Portfolio package (for one thing, I want and actually need five seats), but this one was a heck of a deal for the buyer.

Hi, my Daimler is exactly the same as this both in colour and trim , dont know if your's have the rear picnic tables as well like our Daimlers in the UK (VDP in your country I believe).
The one thing you dont appreciate from the photos is the effect on the indigo paint, when the sun shines on it the colours are just amazing and it just lights up with colour . I will try and get some decent photos put up next time the sun shines !!!

Hi Dave. Yes, the Super V8's have the rear trays, everything the VDP's have.

I've seen an Indigo car before. It's my personal favorite color I've seen for the X350. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your car.

P.S., I'm happy I opted for my cars's scheme. It's VERY low-key. With the way I drive, it's for the best.
