Default OEM Remanufactured Rear Strut from RMT

Hi,

The rear passenger strut on my 2004 VDP is leaking oil and need to be replaced. I don't plan on replacing both, just the bad one. 1.5 year ago I replaced a failed front strut with one from Arnott and it worked well. The cheapest Arnott strut today costs around $425, so while looking for the best deal I came across a remanufactured strut by RMT suspension products with a life warranty for $230. I am wondering if anyone has used a remanufactured strut from the same company and how was your experience? If you haven't, do you think it is a bad idea to use a remanufactured item for such an important and often troublesome part?

Thanks.

I have a set on the front of my 07 VDP, that so far are holding up well.
Just received a set of rears, purchased to put on when things cool down a little.
And my friend with the lift, gets his truck suspension replacement finished.
I also have one of their compressors in my 04, that works well

Glad to know you have no complaints about the brand, and given the lifetime warranty, I see no reason not to buy it.

Normal wear & tear, is not covered, under the lifetime warranty.

Things do wear out, & if they last as long, well worth the investment.
