Default Please help! key fobs!

hi all, just picked up my lovely x350 superv8! its fab, apart from the bloody key fobs!

I can only press one button, after that i cant press any buttons for about 10minutes!

for example: i arrive home and open the boot, now i cant lock the car!

or: i lock the car, and now cant open the boot! if i wait about 10 mins i can use another function on the fob(only once mind) and then i have to wait another 10 mins! very annoying!!

any help would be most appreciated!

ps i have tried reprogramming the fobs, it makes all the right noises and beeps, but still makes no defference!

Try to disconnect battery for 5-10 minutes, it's kind a reset.

Good luck
Paul,

Rest couldn't hurt. I assume both fobs are doing the same thing?

ok it appears to be sorted now! a bit wierd to be honest, took it to a jag specialist who put it on the diagnosis thingy, came back with a fault on the door module. funny thing is i got told on another sight it could be frozen...which in turn is causeing the fault. car defrosts today and hey presto....all fixed...now really happy getting used to my new toy! only problem now is its too powerful for the icy roads haha!
