Default Sat Radio retrofit

Our 08 XJ VDP for some obscure reason was ordered without the Sat radio feature. My old shop manager says there was a jag part retro fit kit; goes in the ash tray and, I think, uses the GPS antenna. He checked but, surprise, it isn't available from jag anymore.
Sirius sent me a free radio kit that will broadcast into an FM channel; however, the antenna magnet doesn't exactly stick to my aluminum roof and would look kinda tacky anyway.
Question; anyone know of this jag retrofit kit and is there a left over kit or a dead car with one in it? Any chance? Thanks for any info!

My car isn't dead, but if I knew how to remove the Sirius radio bits and pieces you'd be welcome to them. My Jag radio has very weak reception and some have said there is a Sirius antenna switch behind the dash or in the boot that interferes with it. It was apparently an aftermarket installation judging from the 1/2" hole and the three cable ends in the ash tray area and no ash tray. I'd even throw in the radio itself.
