Default Water in the foot well?

I have a 2008 XJ6 Sovereign TDVi.
A message told me I needed to fill the wash bottle. I filled it and the next day I found the foot well in the back literally full of water.
I traced it to the airvent under the seat.
I found water in the air inlet area.I sucked it out and allowed the foot well to dry.
2 weeks later with no further filling the footwell was wet again.
1 weeks later with little use I got the fill the washbottle message again!
Am I likely to be right that it is probably a badly leaking washbottle or could there be another explanation?
Cheers

could there be another explanation?
Blocked drain hole in the heater intake plenium chamber, maybe ?

Highly unlikely to be due to filling the washer bottle, its under the front wing somewhere at the right front of the car, and nowhere near the air intake.

The washer bottle was moved for the later cars and is in the same place as the pollen filter on the early cars so may indeed be right next to the air intake.

Default Water in the foot well

Thanks to Fraser and U102768 for commenting. The wash bottle is on the left side next to what I assume is the air intake.

I didn't know the washer bottle had been moved, sorry !

If its close to the plenum, it could very well be leaking and going into the car, if leaking fluid is not being drained by the plenum drains. My JTIS CD only covers 2003 and 2004. I would take off the cover below the windscreen wipers and have a look round. Wipers have to come off, of course.
