The plastic piece above the bumper that seems to serve as a spacer for the headlamp assemblies. It fastens back with 3 bolts on either side.

Thanks, Pete! I was a bit puzzled by it because the screws on the front allow for some adjustment in location. I was concerned about getting something out of alignment. Above, I mentioned 6 screws, but there are a total of 10. I found that it goes on best by attaching the 2 on each side first and then tightening the 6 on the front using the paint overspray marks as the guide. Bottom line: Everything seems to fit nicely.

Best,

Steve S.

I did not have any problem with the alignment of the part when I dismantled and reassembled it. It is like you say: with all the screws there is no way it can be misaligned.

@Pete M: congrats for finding the part no. in the catalogue! I tried and failed miserably... would it be possible to have the link to the catalogue page concerned?

Thanks and best regards,

Thomas

Yeah, the space allowed by the screw holes is not for adjustment, it's for tolerance of something being just a bit off one direction or another.
