I can attest that all went well after to different XJ8 (2008, 2004) using Ravenol ATF 6HP. It appears, after doing some research, to be the actual OEM Lifegard 6 source, without the ZF inflated prices. I purchase mine in the 20l bag-in-a-box so I have enough for several changes, and the price-per-qt. is very, very good at 20l for an OEM-type fluid.

At a much better price than the OEM fluid
Good to know. Need to do a change soon and it seems the ZF Lifeguard 6 Fluid has suddenly become rare in the States. I see a lot of Lifeguard 8 still. Originally Posted by Wingrider
