Default x350 brake pipe replacement

The time has come, the brake pipe to my rear passenger wheel has sprung a leak.

my garage is telling me that they will have to remove the exhaust, prop shaft and fuel tank to get access to the brake pipe from under my drivers seat (right side of the vehicle) to the rear left wheel.

can anyone give me an alternative procedure I can provide them and/or any hints and tips for minimising this job?

I'm afraid if they are going to charge me for completely dismantling the car, its going to cost more than the car is worth...

thanks in advance

Make your own with the flexible copper & nickle line available for years now.

Rout, flair, then zip tie the lines in place.

Easy, will never rust, as well as stronger than the stock steel lines.

Wingrinder has given me the idea of accessing the pipe in a convenient location

and route the pipe to the relevant wheel by avoiding as much dismantling as possible.

ie a completely different way.
