This is what I found in the trunk any ideas would be wonderful |
I'd suggest heading to your local salvage yard and get the remaining part of your wiring harness that is missing and start from there. It would make things a whole lot easier.
I was told it was for the cd changer and a non issue in its state
Have you tried programming the remote (key fob) to your system?
Yes but to no avail
Try removing the security fuse in the spare tire well and resetting the system, sometimes this will work. Also disconnecting the battery for a few minutes may help. You may have a bad security module (located just forward of the fuel filler door above the rear wheelwell) or your remote might be a different frequency from the unit. Did it previously work at one time?
Had the car for 3 weeks never worked for me
Make sure your batteries are good in the remote (CR2016). Sometimes the lights will flash but it may still be weak enough not to put out a good signal. Are you familiar with the remote reset procedure?
Im sorry the alarm in the car has been replaced with an aftermarket unit
