Any body know these Part numbers

I need to find the part numbers of the missing parts in the 2 pictures.
  1. I need the bulb number for the cruise control ilumination. Thet are small twist in type a bit smaller than the dashboard lights
  2. The plastic inserts that go in the front valance to hold the plastic covers in place. They must be square in shape, and require the pins in the covers to be rotated 90 deg's to lock them in place.

If anyone knows the part numbers and where to purchase these I would be apreciated

As for the bulbs and holders, the part number is JLM1928. The can be acquired from SNG Barratt, one of the forum sponsors for about 5 quid:

If your photo shows what I think it's showing, the part number is AGU2643:

Thanks NBCat. Once I had the numbers I found them local in North America.

Hello. Can you tell me where you got the JLM 1928 or equivalent, please?

Hi.

I got these from Ebay (eBay item number:223657838464).

They did not fit as tight as I would have liked, so I removed the bulbs from the black plastic holder, and soldered them directly on to the board. Works perfectly.

G’day Guys,

For the little instrument and switch lights I re-bulbed mine with small bulbs. There are a couple of types called ‘grain of wheat’ or ‘grain of rice’. They are two different sizes and are a bare bulb with two wires attached.

Google them, they were quite cheap and you buy them in small lots of ten I recall.

You can use your original bulb sockets, which is a plus.

Cheers,
Jeff.

Our member Lawrence just posted this link in the XJ40 forum. They look like correct replacements for JLM1928:

P.S. I think NBCat is right about those quarter-turn nuts.

Cheers,

Don

Cheers,

that brown one is the stubby T5 they use for the cluster warning lights or alternatively the gauges.

I used the 2162 or 2182 in our '93 XJ40. They worked fine but were not quite as bright as the originals, so look for the highest wattage rating you can find in the T1-3/4 size:
