Default headliner and sun visors

OK - started looking into replacing the headliner. My x300 is green with tan inside. The headliner and visors are a different shade, more coffee with cream. The headliner needs replaced, as well as all the fabric in the overhead and the sliding rood panels.

I don't like the color of the headliner, and would like to get a color that more closely matches the plastic of overhead and the seat leather. And I've found it in both headliner material and ultrasuede. I also have a full leather hide I planned on using for my TR7 seats - once I find it, I think it might be another good match. So, there's a few options, just a decision to make.

My dilemma is the sun visors are the same color and fabric as the headliner. Does anyone know how they come apart to recover? I have no issue son jumping into this, but want to make sure I can do the visors before I even get started.

I saw that, but was hoping someone had experience with our visors.

i have the black interior with grey headliner [YUCK].when i got the car it needed replaced,so i decided to cover it in black, along with visors,a-posts and paint surrounding trim.headliner was a no brainer, sunroof was a real pain.visors were another story as i'd never done this type of visor before.they are glued together,so first seperate the seam with a box cutting knife, pry open just enough to insert sharp putty knife [funny word K-NIFE].look for the other spots where its glued in the middle and then dig your way through.watck for loose parts, then recover and reglue...steve.

that's the advice I was looking for. (sorry, That's the advice for which I was looking).

I'll pick a color that more suits the seats and dash - any luckily is available at the local fabric shop.

There's a near perfect color match at my local Jo-Ann fabric to do the headliner and visors. Plus, in my email today I got a 50% coupon, so a new headliner will be under $25.
