Key stuck in truck lock.

Key stuck in truck lock.
Hi guys. I have a 1996 XJ6 and I cannot remoove my key from the trunk keyhole. Furthermore, I have noticed that when I press the lock button, the car just beeps and will not lock. ANy info on the matter would be of great help. Thank You.
