After owning my XJ6 3.2 '95 for two years it hast just recently come to my attention, that the two connectors pictured below have been disconnected probably by a previous owner.

Any help finding out what this connection is about would be highly appreciated as I do not want to re-connect them without knowing what it is and why they have been disconnected.

BTW: The location is left hand side driving direction.

Looks like the uninstalled traction control feature.

 

My 93 has the same wire(no hitched to anything)

How do I find out if my car is fitted with the traction control? Maybe a previous owner disconected it to impress or scare his mother in law?
